CHASS Inc.’s priority is to protect personally identifiable information and participant confidentiality; and whenever practicable, reports shared outside CHASS Inc. will use aggregated or de-identified information.

4Information About Children and Youth

VIP Youth Leadership may serve young people ages 13–19.

CHASS Inc. takes children's and adolescents' privacy seriously.

Participants Ages 13–17

Participants under age 18 may be required to have authorization or consent from a parent or legal guardian before enrollment, payment, participation in certain community features, or other activities, depending on the program and applicable law.

CHASS Inc. may establish additional youth-safety and consent procedures for schools, community organizations, sponsored participants, or institutional programs.

Participants Ages 18–19

Participants ages 18 and 19 are generally legal adults in the U.S. and may consent for themselves as well as enroll to participate in the VIP transformations for young people.

In summary, the following is a schematic representation of this VIP information structure:

Ages 13–17 → youth participant + appropriate parent/guardian consent

Ages 18–19 → young-adult participant who consents for themselves

5Community Participation and Information You Share

Some VIP experiences may include access to an online community, group discussion, facilitated session, or peer-learning environment.

Participants should remember that information they voluntarily share with other participants may be seen by members of that VIP transformation community.

Please do not post:

  • confidential personal information;
  • financial information;

  • verify qualified enrollments;
  • calculate commissions;
  • prevent duplicate or fraudulent referrals; and
  • evaluate the effectiveness of referral activities.
